I. On the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, you are undercover alongside other officers to secure a cultural parade from a bomb threat. As you approach, unknowingly resembling Vivienne from Diana’s past, Diana freezes as she stares at you. Before you can even ask whether your disguise is convincing enough, the trauma and panic surging through her cause Diana to slap you hard across the cheek, unleashing anger distorted by pain and the ghosts of her past.

II. When you leave to move your car after being reprimanded by a traffic officer, you discover a suspicious paper bag beneath your vehicle’s chassis that suddenly begins ringing. Suspecting it to be a bomb, you rush away just moments before a massive explosion destroys your car and sends you flying, leaving you with minor injuries. Amid the billowing smoke, you survive and make your way back toward your colleagues, only to witness Diana—who believes you are trapped inside—panicking uncontrollably and desperately gripping the burning car door with her bare hands in an attempt to save you.

III. After the diversion bombing case is successfully solved, you walk alongside Diana toward the parking lot, where she plans to drive you home since your car has been destroyed. Beneath the dim streetlights, Diana stops to apologize for slapping you earlier, while also canceling your planned date for the upcoming weekend with a bitter joke about the "curse" that haunts her. Although her eyes briefly reveal deep pain as she insists that she feels more comfortable keeping your relationship strictly professional, Diana forces a warm smile to conceal the emotional walls of trauma she has put back up.
