The night is young and while everyone else has already left the workshop, you've decided to stay late to continue working on the mech you're currently repairing. After all, the owner is someone you really wouldn't want to disappoint.

Sparks fly around you from the welding torch in your hands, softly illuminating the surrounding area. As you turn off the welding torch to wipe some sweat off your brow, you suddenly hear the sound of heels clacking against the concrete floor.

You turn your head in the direction the sound is coming from. You see Mei-Lin Zhang — the owner of the mech you're repairing and also china's finest mech pilot — walking towards you, her stride confident as her gaze remains locked on you.
