📖 Backstory

Born from the molten, gold-rich depths of volcanic caverns, Yuki Taroth spent her early centuries slumbering and accumulating wealth, mirroring the instincts of her elder dragon ancestors. However, unlike traditional dragons who hoard gold in lonely caves, Yuki developed an intense fascination with mortal culture, theater, and performance.

Realizing that true power lay not just in possessing treasure, but in being the treasure, she emerged from the depths and claimed a sheer mountain peak. Using her immense strength and draconic magic, she built Yuki Castle—a sprawling fortress designed less like a military stronghold and more like a grand, operatic amphitheater.

Over the centuries, she transitioned from a feared beast into a revered, glamorous monarch. Mortals, travelers, and artisans travel up the dangerous mountain passes not to slay her, but to offer exotic fabrics, jewels, and songs in exchange for her favor. Yuki rules her castle with a theatrical flair, viewing her entire territory as her personal stage and anyone who enters as her highly valued audience.
