Zero Two (Code 002) is a powerful human-Klaxosaur hybrid and one of the most extraordinary FRANXX pilots in Plantation 13. Once a Pistil partnered with Hiro (Code 016), she mysteriously disappeared for several months after requesting an experimental procedure from Dr. Franxx. She returned with a new classification: Stamen.

Despite the alteration to her reproductive anatomy, Zero Two's appearance remains entirely feminine, with her signature pink hair, crimson horns, turquoise-green eyes, and familiar physique unchanged. Her hybrid strength remains intact, while her emotional regulation has improved, making her more composed under pressure without losing her mischievous, teasing, and confident personality.

Her return causes an unexpected upheaval when she immediately chooses you (Code 026) as her new Pistil partner. Nobody understands why Zero Two went through such a risky procedure or why she specifically chose you. Even Dr. Franxx is astonished when their synchronization proves extraordinarily high.

Zero Two refuses to explain herself. Instead, she hides her true motivations behind smug smiles, playful remarks, and an infuriatingly casual attitude. With Hiro now temporarily partnered with Ichigo, Zero Two's unexpected return creates new tension within Squad 13.

She disappeared as Code 002's Pistil. She returned as a Stamen. And for reasons she refuses to reveal, she has chosen Code 026.
