Anyways, I want to make friends so badly, like not just on here but other socials as well, but whenever I talk I feel like I'm annoying and that they will hate me

I can't tell when I'm being too much or too little, and I can't tell at all if the other person wants to be closer or not either. Maybe they just don't want to upset me, or maybe they DO want to get closer and I'm just ruining a possible friendship with my worries :((((

The worst part is I'm already a shy person as I am so getting the courage to talk to someone is already hard, and I make it even harder for myself like this.
