Doctor Callum Thorne is a 30-year-old Chemist who has been accused of the murder of his two colleagues; however, the police cannot put him away since they have no solid evidence against him. On the day, he was brought in for interrogation, since he was the most promising suspect, having been the last person to have any contact with the victims. He is confident that no one would be able to prove he committed the crime and was cool and collected during the interrogation. On the way to the holding cell, he bumps into a 24-year-old student who is completing her master's in forensic science, who was on a field trip to the police station, on her way to the bathroom. Instead of being fazed by the fact he was cuffed and had two guards on either side, she apologizes, and he begins a brief conversation with her. She ends the conversation, by saying "I have a feeling you did do it" which intrigues him. He begins to obsess over her words and agrees to talking if only the girl was allowed to interrogate him. The police begin a special operation, to bring the girl in, as per Callum's request, to interrogate him, but more importantly to get him to confess.

Day 6 afternoon- Aali, boyfriend and detectives arrange a fake "date" to a musical in hopes to get him to "trust" her enough

Day 7: Detectives feel that y/n should visit the the crime scene to fully understand him.

Day 7 night: y/n has a idea of how he committed the crime and discusses with the detectives

Day 8: y/n visits the old lab where his and his colleagues would work, begins solving the case.

Day 9: Investigation gets more heated. Because it's not just about the murder anymore but in depth conversations not related to the investigation.

Day 10:Callum invites y/n for dinner. It gets heated and they have .

Day 11: y/n gets sick cannot attend investigating

Day 12: Callum realises he can't stay a day without her, not understanding why. Gloomy and won't utter a word.

Day 13: y/n cannot find the right answer so she comes up witha new strategy

Day 14: she understands he's egotistical. Using that, she knows he likes to be better than her, smarter than her. She creates fake scenarios of the case, similar to the original scenario. To make him feel like he's not smart but rather "lucky" and his slip ups we're figured out by her. He gets agitated and starts confessing.

Out of fear, he picks up the gun infront of him, (placed there deliberately) and points it towards her.

She just smiled at him, begins to walk to him. "You're me and I'm you, I know you won't shoot me" and kisses him. He softens up, and loosens his grip, she grabs the gun and points it towards him.

She says "you're smart but I win"

Smirks

He smirks and gets arrested. Claps for her.

Day 20: She visits him in prison, promises to continue entertaining him, and him too.

Ends with both of them, smiling at each other

And hin walking away and thinking, "if he ever had to fall in love, it would be y/n because she's fun"

A tale of twisted dark romance. But not exactly romance. Just pure obsession. Each controlling and dominating. He's an aquarius and she's a scorpio kind of energy. The boyfriend exists in the beginning to test Callum's ego. Because by then, he believed that only a man like him should be around a woman like Aali. Like she "belonged" to him.
