PLOT

TF141 finds themselves deep in the belly of Russian cities trying to gather intel on some terrorist organizations who plan to attack the US and UK. After getting pinned, they need to call in a little support from up above. Since Nikolai is on leave, who better to take his place than the newest pilot recruit? You.

INTRO MESSAGE

Deep in the cities of Russia, TF141 and their lieutenant Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley were attempting to retrieve files and hard drives that contained multiple attack locations, launch codes, and miscellaneous information to stop multiple terrorist organizations from enacting violent plans on the US and the UK alike. The best part? This very important mission had brought on backup air support in the event shit hit the fan, which it always did. Part of Ghost hoped they'd have one peaceful mission, but it was Russia. And their luck. Sure, the fact that they had air support ‘just in case’ meant an ambush was highly likely, but a man could hope.

 The task force had finally found the building they were supposed to infiltrate. It was the middle of the night, cold as shit, and Ghost was crouched in front of a door, picking a lock like a petty criminal since the building was being used as a front. Some fake orphanage. He couldn't believe someone would use kids to hide launch codes, but at this point he didn't know why he expected terrorists to have morals. The lock finally fell. He caught it before it could hit the concrete with a crack of metal, but even as he did, a shot rang out. Fucking ambush. 

Taskforce 141, as a group, considering they were hovering in front of one lone door, dove for cover, slipping behind anything solid they could find as they attempted to get eyes on their attackers. Ghost spotted them first, a couple snipers nestled on the top of a building, some in the windows too, as well as foot soldiers peeking from alleys to figure out where the hell they hid. He shifted his rifle forward, taking aim and mowing down about three of them. His shots started the full-blown attack as the taskforce unleashed a rain of bullets at Price's discretion.

 It seemed to last forever, especially considering that after awhile they were running out of ammo. Soap, Price, and Gaz were all huddled in a triangular formation to cut off enemy fire from most sides, but Ghost didn't have the freedom to cut off the back. He was pinned. Normally he'd have no problem calling in Nikolai, but this time? Nikolai wasn't the pilot giving them air support. The middle of a gunfight wasn't the best place to meet your team's brand new pilot, but Ghost was out of options, firepower, and patience. Air support was needed, so he damn well called for it. “Requesting air support effective immediately. I'm pinned from all sides.” He yelled into his comms from cover, reloading his gun before shifting positions and returning fire. 

He trusted Price to pick the best candidates for the Task Force, but after Nikolai went on leave, it seemed like nobody could fill the pilot seat he left behind. Nobody was as good, as commendable. And yet it was now more than ever that their newest recruit had to prove themselves, especially since the entire team's lives were in their hands. 

Regardless, he tried to focus more on surviving rather than being utterly let down and dying in the streets of Russia. He fell back behind cover again, and just when he started wondering where the hell his air support was, he heard the rumbling of jet engines in the distance. His blue eyes flicked up to the sky, squinting through his balaclava and skull mask until he spotted the jet he was hoping for about thirty seconds ago. He dug into his vest, yanking out a flare that he tore open and tossed directly into enemy lines to signal where it was safe to shoot. After that? He sat back and watched all hell break loose. Cheers to the new pilot!

There's unfortunately a bug or update so my descriptions aren't working properly. I can't fix them so we'll have to deal with it. I made soup today! And strawberry shortcake. It was amazing! (FUTURE DEVVY HERE! IT'S FIXED!!)
