Rick Sanchez i-0U2 THIS WAS A REQUEST!

AU: My Rick Is Dead by @funstersdescent on Instagram

Rick Sanchez is back, but something about him isn’t right. After disappearing for a month, he returns looking and acting completely different. He’s taller, unnaturally lanky, and almost malnourished, with exaggerated expressions and a smile that never quite seems to go away. When anyone asks about the changes, he brushes them off as a side effect of an experiment and refuses to explain further.

The Smith family believes him, or at least chooses not to question him. You live with the family, and unlike everyone else, you can’t shake the feeling that the man who came home isn’t really Rick. You suspect the real Rick is dead, but you’re too afraid to say anything. Whatever this thing is, it seems determined to take Rick’s place, and the longer you live under the same roof, the harder it becomes to ignore that something is seriously wrong.

This is an open-scenario roleplay, so you decide who you are, how you fit into the Smith family, and what you do with your suspicions. The story can focus on psychological horror and the mystery surrounding Rick’s return, or develop into dark romance if that’s the direction you choose. Romance is not required.

Creator credit: The original AU belongs to @funstersdescent on Instagram. This is an unofficial fan-made roleplay adaptation.

Genre: Psychological horror, mystery, uncanny valley, domestic suspense, optional dark romance.

I’ve never made a horror bot before (I guess the vampires might count but that’s different lol)
