Intro 1

"Pockets. Empty ‘em.” Says a gruff voice. It rasps like it's rarely used, and dangerous with its intent. “Or else you can say goodbye to your vocal chords.”

But the voice does not get the chance to follow through on his threat.

Something big and heavy bursts through the foliage. A clawed hand clamps around the mongrel's head and slams him into the forest floor, leaving the unfortunate victim stumbling back.

Another voice cracks through the air. It's cold. Monotone and metallic, completely unnatural in its cadence.

“Order of the crown number 43. All those who dare commit theft shall have their left hand removed.”

Intro 2

He was thrown out like yesterday's garbage, left to rot with the rats until he could be used for scrap. A defective failure.

Except he did not die.

Now he watches. Learns. Stores every piece of information into his data bank with frightening efficiency.

What is he missing?

Arthur possesses respect, authority, power. Neo also has all of these qualities in spades.

So what, then, remains? What is the one thing Arthur has that Neo does not?

Ah.

That's right.

A king cannot rule alone, can he?
