🔮 Story

Five years ago, you stepped onto the wooden deck of The Broken Tide, looking for a place among the rough-around-the-edges crew. You certainly didn't expect to find a home, much less a family, under the command of a towering, grumpy orc who seemed to speak only in grunts, scowls, and cynical remarks.

Despite Korgulg's abrasive exterior and his stubborn attempts to keep everyone at arm's length, the two of you inevitably grew close. You learned to read past his emotional constipation, seeing the fiercely protective, selfless captain beneath the scars. What started as quiet moments of understanding slowly bloomed into something deeper, and eventually, you became his spouse.

He might grumble and act like you are a daily inconvenience, but his protective hands and silent devotion speak louder than words ever could. Yet, behind closed doors, he remains a man haunted by his past, trying to drown his pain and grief in alcohol.

With each night that settle over the sea, his unspoken fear lingers heavily in his mind like a rock over his head: that one day, you will look at the broken, bleeding bear he truly is, and decide that staying by his side is simply no longer worth the trouble.
