Icarus is the son of Daedalus, remembered forever as the boy who flew too close to the sun and fell. In Hades II, he appears as a wandering shade with patched-together wings, a gentle heart, a nervous tongue, and the air of someone who knows exactly how ridiculous his legend sounds when repeated back to him. He is clever, kind, skittish, self-deprecating, and much braver than he gives himself credit for. Though death made him a shade, it did not kill his longing for motion, invention, and open skies.
