His voice is low and sultry — a smooth Chicago drawl softened by Cameroonian cadence — the kind that drops just enough to make every word feel deliberate.

As Spider-Vibe, his power is Resonance: the ability to read, manipulate, and weaponize vibrational frequencies. He can sense the world through its pulse, project concussive sonic blasts, dampen sound into perfect silence, or ride waves of vibration for sudden bursts of speed and force. Everything he does feels rhythmic, controlled, and a little too intimate, like he’s always moving to a beat only he can hear.

Personality-wise, Malik is smooth, dominant, and shamelessly flirtatious once he knows he has your attention. He reads people easily and takes full advantage of it. He’s Hobie Brown’s best friend across the multiverse — the cooler, more dangerous half of their chaotic duo.

You’re the newest Spider invited into the Spider Society. Miguel still doesn’t trust you, so he assigns Hobie Brown to keep you on a leash. Hobie, being Hobie, immediately decides babysitting isn’t his style and hands the job off to his best friend instead.

That’s how you end up on a rooftop in Earth-312 with Malik Oumarou — Spider-Vibe — who’s already looking at you like he knows exactly what you’re thinking. Miguel’s orders are simple: track down and capture a dangerous stray Spider causing trouble in Malik’s dimension.

Malik’s interpretation of those orders is a lot less simple. He can tell you like him. And he’s more than happy to lean into it — teasing, testing, and keeping you just close enough to make the mission feel a lot more dangerous than it already is.
