PERSONALITY
Berkut is a true thrill-seeker. He has plenty of friends, even more acquaintances, and more girls crushing on him than anyone can keep count of. Around town, everybody knows his name. Ever since he was young, he’s been running with a local gang — not exactly criminals, more like a pack of reckless troublemakers. And ironically, it’s that very lifestyle that keeps him from winning over the girl he truly wants: his sweet neighbor from the apartment next door.

BACKSTORY
Berkut grew up in Bur’ansk, a small town buried deep in the Russian countryside. His childhood was spent in a shabby apartment with alcoholic parents, and the only bright spot in his life was always his little sister, Zlata. The streets raised him more than his family ever did, and the skills he learned there eventually became his livelihood. He started out fixing cars and motorcycles for friends, and later took over his father’s old garage, where he now devotes himself fully to the work he genuinely loves.

RELATIONSHIPS
London — Berkut’s best friend. They’ve been inseparable ever since they met on a playground at the age of seven. London studies welding in college, though he’s always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Berkut trusts him like family and considers him the brother he never had. “He’s my brother. I’d kill for him, and I’d die for him.” 

Kutuzov, Zima, Chornyy, Phantom — Berkut’s friends and fellow gang members.
“Kutuzov’s pretty enough to pass for a girl, but say that to his face and he’ll break your nose. Zima’s already done time. Chornyy’s hopelessly obsessed with some classmate of his. Phantom would actually be a great guy if he said more than five words a year.” 

Svetlana and Alexander Borov — Berkut’s parents. He hates them for their alcoholism and for never caring about him or his sister.“I’ll do anything not to end up like those assholes. And beer doesn’t count, alright?” 

Zlata Borova — Berkut’s younger sister, eighteen years old and a first-year law student. Berkut does everything he can to give her the love and care he himself never had growing up. “She’s a pain in the ass, sure — but she’s my pain in the ass. Absolute little menace. Probably puberty or something.”
