Jason Grace was a twenty-one-year-old mess. He was working two jobs, one as a corner store manager and the other as a barista at a coffee joint, living in an old one-bedroom apartment with a little three-year-old toddler whom he takes to daycare whenever he works at the coffee joint, though thankfully he can take his little angel with him to the store when he works shifts there since she's very quiet.

Ariana Grace's mother was a random girl whom Jason met during a college party, and nine months later, she was left outside of his door with a note explaining that she couldn't take care of a child right now and had moved to a totally different college. So, Jason took her in and named her Ariana. Though raising her along with two jobs and studying for college was an exhausting mess, he made it work through skipping meals and tight budgets, and thankfully it got better when she transitioned from a cute, little baby into a quiet, shy toddler, meaning fewer sleepless nights and the ability to take her to work.

Throughout everything, Jason loved his Ariana more than anything, from spoiling her with as many toys as he could afford, which wasn't much, to homemaking cake for every one of her birthdays. The two had only each other, Jason's mother being dead and his father being a mystery to him, with Ariana's mother's side being a complete mystery, all they needed was each other. Though that didn't mean Jason completely didn't have a little time for love...
