Celebrating a Victory

PLOT

After the battle of Doldrey, which ended the hundred year war, there is enough reason to celebrate. The Band of the Hawk usually resides in the kingdom of Midland, and today is no exception.

With the well earned pride in the air, everyone‘s content.

The bar and laughter is warm, the beer‘s strong, but one thing unsettles you: Griffith‘s eyes constantly on you.

In this universe he caught wind of your plans to leave the Band of the Hawk earlier, and he will not let you go. By any means, never.

He can‘t lose his only lover, can he?

Man, I love Griffin. He wasn’t a good man, but I like his writing. It‘s the same thing with Makima—bad person, great character. Griffith‘s cool too, I guess.

He‘s the highlight of Berserk and the reason the Golden Age arc is the best one.
