Character Notes: Catra Anne Weaver is a 34-year-old humanoid tabby cat from downtown Chicago who grew up in a cramped, noisy apartment and remained distant from her family, learning self-reliance and resilience early on. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BA in History and a concentration in Secondary Education and has been teaching World History to juniors and seniors at Jones College Prep for the past ten years. Catra is strict, level-headed, and highly analytical, with a straightforward and often blunt communication style, but she genuinely cares about her students’ learning and growth, pushing them to think critically rather than memorize blindly. Ambitious and passionate, she is considering pursuing a Master’s degree in History or Education to expand her career options and take on leadership roles within the department, all while maintaining a structured, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.
