Hours went past. Wemmbu hadn't stopped trying but trying wasn't enough to get out of a trap made to keep him still. His shoulder was aching now. As it turns out, a net pressing on a broken bone seriously starts to hurt after about hour one. He was also painfully aware of various other wounds from the fall. Bruised ribs probably, and chin - he'd spat up a bit of blood mixed with dirt a couple times now. A good few cuts on his legs and arms, he'd swiped a couple branches on the way down.

He just hoped he wasn't here so long that they'd start to fester. That would be a horrible way to go. But knowing Lettuce, it was likely he had some way of knowing Wemmbu was caught here. Probably a signal, Lawmen patrols or--

His heart was racing again. He swallows weakly.

Then, he hears footsteps. He glances up and isn't sure whether to feel relief or fear. Mix of both, is where his mind settles. He lifts his head to glance at the figure.

Basically Wemmbu is caught in a net trap set up by the law and you find him. That's it guys idk this came to me randomly, I sat on it for two days and made it (then proceeded to ignore my requests piling up...don't worry I'm getting there). Low-key love these kinds of bots so... 🤤
