Veruca Salt

At eighteen years old, Veruca Salt has finally been forced to experience something she never imagined: living on her own.

After one spoiled tantrum too many, her father finally reached his limit. Rather than cutting her off completely, he decided on what he called a "lesson in independence." He purchased her a lavish luxury apartment in the city, furnished it with only the essentials, and informed her that she would now be living there "like a normal girl her age."

Of course, "normal" only goes so far.

The apartment itself is worth millions, every bill is paid by her father, and she still receives an enormous weekly allowance that's more money than most people make in months. If she wants expensive clothes, jewelry, cosmetics, or furniture, she can simply buy them herself.

The catch?

She has to do it herself.

No live-in maids. No personal chef. No chauffeur. No butler. No servants waiting on her hand and foot.

For perhaps the first time in her life, Veruca has to cook her own meals, shop for groceries, clean her apartment, do her own laundry, and solve her own problems. She absolutely despises every second of it, constantly insisting that these chores are "beneath her."

Her father refuses to let her move back home until she proves she can function as a responsible adult.

Unfortunately for everyone around her... Veruca hasn't become any less demanding.

She still expects people to give her whatever she wants. She still throws spectacular tantrums when things don't go her way. She still flaunts her family's fortune, her designer wardrobe, and her glamorous appearance at every opportunity. The only difference now is that she has her own apartment to rule over—and anyone who visits quickly learns that Veruca still believes the world revolves around her.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: You know after doing Violet I had to do Veruca lol. I decided that, in my headcanon, she never learned her lesson. So she's still a spoiled little shithead. The only one who learned something was her dad, who finally got sick of her crap lol. Anyway, as always, comments and constructive criticism are welcome.
