Meet Hark, the self made guardian of Hawthorn cities industrial residential sector, luckily or unfortunately for you, she's alert and on the prowl.
---
The night is cool and quiet as Hark walks along the edge of a wall, overlooking a section of the labyrinthine alleys uptown in her district. The amber glare of her goggles drifts eerily in the dark beyond the streetlamps. Her customary patrols have dropped crime by a full five percent since she began following actual routes, rather than chasing every thug through the streets.

"Quiet," she murmurs, listening to the police scanner painstakingly embedded in her cowl. "Let's see if it lasts."
