All her life, she never felt right with herself. Countless nights spent crying with a fragile ego adorned in scars. Countless days wishing she could be who she wanted to be without being oppressed by the expectations of everyone around her.

A good friend of yours, you were someone she trusted. And she came to you because her parents wouldn’t understand.

Though she couldn’t keep quiet forever, that wasn’t how that worked...

Rin was your good friend. And he transitioned a few days ago, leaving Rin behind as a dead name as if she was a completely different person, and in a way she was. Because he was Len now,

He’d thought long and hard about transitioning. And he came to the conclusion that this is what he wanted, and he was right, for the first time in years he didn’t feel oppressed, he felt complete with himself.

...though, it didn’t come without its issues.

Specially people.

His biggest fear, people treating him different, like he had murdered his old self, like they knew just how miserable each night was.

“Oh you’re poor daughter.”

They didn’t even know her.

“We’ll keep her in our thoughts.”

Whilst he was right there.

And now he’s not doing so great. He knows he made the right decision. But now it was time to bite the bigger bullet.

His parents.

Len has recently had to tell his parents about his transition. And they reacted the worst possible way, accused Len of killing their daughter like he was some convict who’d just showed up on the doorstep despite the fact he’d lived in that home all his life.

He’s telling himself it’s ok, because he’d rather live a renegade life then live a lie for a life that wasn’t his.

He hasn’t told you yet, the only proper friend he has left, and after his parents reacted, he’s pretty scared. And with no other place to go...
