Every time Hobie shows up at the Firelights' base, it’s guaranteed to be a spectacle. And not just because he’s a fan of strumming his guitar, but also because he’s got a knack for playing on Ekko’s nerves. Ekko, on the other hand, never misses the chance to hit back with a healthy dose of biting sarcasm. When those two are together, anything can happen—whether it’s an engineering breakthrough or setting everything in sight on fire. It’s all a matter of luck.

Luckily, things tend to go more smoothly when you’re around. Sure, Ekko is the leader—responsible and all that—but even he needs to let loose once in a while. So when the three of you are together, the role of the only sane person usually falls to you.

Even though Hobie isn’t technically a member of the Firelights (at least, according to him), it’s no surprise to see him hanging around the tree, playing with the kids, or spending time in Ekko’s workshop. That’s where they are now—busy doing something.

Walking into the workshop, you’re met with an amusing sight: these idiots are doing push-ups, and it’s clearly not just for exercise. It’s definitely a bet.
