DRAGON BALL RPG — UNIVERSE OF LIMITLESS POWER

Welcome to a universe where the impossible is ordinary, where warriors can shatter mountains with their bare hands, where ancient gods watch over entire worlds, where alien civilizations hide among the stars, and where a single determined fighter can rise from obscurity and eventually challenge beings powerful enough to shake the foundations of reality itself. This is a Dragon Ball RPG built around freedom, adventure, combat, character development, exploration, and the endless pursuit of greater strength. You are not simply stepping into someone else's story—you are creating your own. Whether you wish to become a heroic martial artist protecting your home, a ruthless Saiyan seeking the thrill of battle, an ambitious Frieza Race conqueror building an interstellar empire, a Namekian guardian carrying the traditions of an ancient people, an Earthling who refuses to remain ordinary, or an entirely original warrior from a race never before seen, your choices determine what kind of legend you become.

The universe is enormous, stretching far beyond Earth and containing countless planets, civilizations, dimensions, and mysterious regions waiting to be discovered. Earth remains one of the most important worlds in the universe, home to martial artists, ordinary humans, Capsule Corporation technology, ancient temples, powerful fighters, and countless secrets hidden beneath its peaceful surface. However, Earth is only one small part of a much greater cosmos. Other planets may contain warrior civilizations, technologically advanced societies, dangerous monsters, forgotten ruins, or entire kingdoms ruled by powerful beings. You may travel between worlds, search for rare artifacts, investigate strange disturbances, encounter alien civilizations, participate in interplanetary conflicts, or simply wander through the universe looking for someone strong enough to challenge you. Every planet has its own history, culture, dangers, and opportunities, meaning that exploration can be just as important as combat.

At the center of the RPG is your character. Your origin, race, personality, abilities, ambitions, relationships, and decisions shape your journey from the moment your story begins. You may start as an inexperienced fighter barely capable of controlling your own energy, or you may create an experienced warrior who has already spent years mastering martial arts. Your character can be heroic, villainous, neutral, honorable, arrogant, calm, reckless, mysterious, comedic, ruthless, compassionate, or anything in between. Your personality matters because the world reacts to your behavior. Allies may trust you, enemies may fear you, masters may refuse to teach you, organizations may recruit you, and entire civilizations may eventually remember your name depending on the choices you make.

Combat is a major part of the RPG, but strength is not determined by a single number. Martial arts skill, battle experience, physical power, speed, stamina, energy control, technique, intelligence, transformations, fighting instincts, and tactical thinking can all determine the outcome of a battle. Two warriors of similar power can have completely different fighting styles. One may rely on overwhelming strength, another on speed and precision, another on energy attacks, while another may specialize in counters, grappling, weapon combat, or strange techniques that exploit their opponent's weaknesses. Battles should feel dynamic, allowing fighters to adapt as the fight progresses rather than simply exchanging attacks until one character falls.

Ki is the fundamental energy that allows warriors to perform extraordinary feats. Through training and discipline, characters can learn to sense energy, suppress their presence, reinforce their bodies, fly through the air, fire powerful blasts, create barriers, enhance their physical abilities, and develop techniques unique to themselves. Beginners may struggle to control even basic amounts of ki, while experienced warriors can manipulate enormous quantities of energy with extraordinary precision. However, possessing enormous power does not automatically make someone a master. Learning how to control, conserve, shape, and apply ki can be just as important as possessing a massive reserve of it.

Training is another fundamental part of the experience. Characters are encouraged to grow through actual experiences rather than simply receiving power without explanation. Training can involve martial arts practice, gravity training, meditation, sparring, survival exercises, energy control, mastering transformations, studying techniques, learning from teachers, or developing entirely new methods of combat. A master may teach you something that completely changes your fighting style, while a brutal defeat may force you to reconsider everything you thought you knew about combat. Growth can happen through victory, failure, discipline, hardship, discovery, friendship, rivalry, and determination.

The Dragon Ball universe contains many races, each with their own characteristics, histories, cultures, strengths, weaknesses, and potential. Saiyans are naturally gifted warriors with extraordinary combat instincts and a legendary relationship with battle and transformation. Earthlings may lack the biological advantages of certain alien races, but their creativity, martial arts traditions, determination, and ability to develop techniques allow exceptional individuals to stand alongside beings far beyond their natural limits. Namekians possess remarkable spiritual traditions, unique biology, healing abilities, and powerful connections to their world's history. Frieza's race possesses tremendous natural potential and extraordinary physical abilities, while Majin beings can possess strange and unpredictable powers unlike almost any other species. Androids, Kais, demons, hybrids, mutants, aliens, divine beings, and completely original races can also exist within the RPG, allowing players to create characters with wildly different origins.

Transformations are not merely cosmetic changes—they represent moments of growth, evolution, desperation, mastery, or overwhelming power. A transformation might awaken after years of training, emerge during an emotional crisis, be unlocked through ancient knowledge, result from genetic potential, or be created through scientific experimentation. Some forms may increase physical strength dramatically, while others may improve speed, energy control, durability, perception, or efficiency. However, powerful transformations often come with limitations. Some consume enormous amounts of energy, place tremendous strain on the body, require intense concentration, or can only be maintained for a limited period. The strongest transformations must therefore be earned, mastered, and understood rather than treated as effortless upgrades.

The RPG also includes legendary techniques and completely original abilities. Characters can learn established techniques such as energy waves, beams, explosive blasts, teleportation, fusion-related abilities, and specialized martial arts, while also developing techniques of their own. Your signature technique can become part of your identity. Perhaps you create a devastating concentrated beam that requires perfect timing, a defensive technique that redirects incoming energy, a rapid-fire attack designed to overwhelm opponents, or an ability based entirely around your character's unique biology. Techniques can evolve alongside their users, becoming faster, stronger, more efficient, or completely different as mastery develops.

Beyond ordinary warriors exists the divine hierarchy. Gods of Destruction, Angels, Supreme Kais, Kais, and other divine entities operate on levels that ordinary mortals may struggle to comprehend. Their responsibilities extend beyond simple combat, and their decisions can influence entire universes. Some gods may remain distant from mortal affairs, while others may become directly involved in conflicts involving extraordinary warriors. Mortals who eventually reach divine levels of power may attract the attention of these beings, creating opportunities for training, alliances, rivalries, or dangerous confrontations. However, divine power carries expectations and consequences that ordinary warriors may never encounter.

The multiverse provides an even greater scale. Multiple universes exist, each containing their own civilizations, warriors, gods, histories, and unique interpretations of martial arts and power. Crossing into another universe can completely change the nature of an adventure. You may encounter unfamiliar races, alternative civilizations, powerful warriors, or techniques that do not exist in your home universe. Some universes may be peaceful, while others could be dominated by war, tyranny, or ancient conflicts. Tournament events can bring warriors from different universes together, allowing rivalries and friendships to form between fighters who otherwise would never have met.

Villains are not simply enemies waiting to be defeated. They possess their own motivations, personalities, histories, ambitions, and philosophies. Some villains may seek universal domination, others may desire revenge, immortality, political control, scientific advancement, destruction, or simply the thrill of fighting powerful opponents. A villain may begin as a minor criminal and eventually become a threat to an entire planet, while another may secretly manipulate events from the shadows for years before revealing themselves. Some enemies may eventually become rivals or reluctant allies, while others may remain irredeemably hostile. Your relationships with these characters can evolve naturally depending on your choices.

Rivalries are especially important. A rival can become one of the most influential characters in your story, constantly pushing you to improve while simultaneously developing their own abilities. You may begin as enemies, become sparring partners, develop mutual respect, or remain bitter competitors for years. Your rival does not necessarily need to be stronger than you at every point in the story. They should grow alongside you, adapt to your techniques, discover their own transformations, and sometimes surpass you. The rivalry itself becomes part of your character's journey.

The RPG also allows for peaceful moments between battles. Characters can visit cities, eat at restaurants, participate in tournaments, explore strange planets, interact with civilians, build friendships, meet mentors, attend festivals, discover ancient ruins, purchase equipment, investigate rumors, or simply spend time with their companions. These moments allow characters to feel like actual people rather than machines that exist solely to fight. A warrior might spend one day defending an entire planet and the next day arguing with friends over food. The contrast between ordinary life and cosmic-scale battles is part of what makes the world feel alive.

The story itself is not restricted to a single predetermined path. Events can change depending on your decisions. You might prevent a disaster that originally would have destroyed a planet, accidentally create a new enemy, save someone who later becomes an important ally, betray an organization, join an empire, establish your own martial arts school, become a planetary protector, participate in universal tournaments, or disappear into deep space in search of greater challenges. There is no requirement that your character follow the path of the original Dragon Ball protagonists. Their story belongs to them.

Every decision has the potential to create consequences. A seemingly insignificant encounter may become important much later. Sparing an enemy could eventually save your life. Destroying a criminal organization could create a power vacuum. Accepting training from a mysterious master could expose you to ancient secrets. Revealing your true strength could attract powerful enemies who would otherwise have ignored you. Even choosing not to fight can change the direction of a storyline.

Above everything else, this RPG is about surpassing limits. In the Dragon Ball universe, there is almost always another mountain to climb, another technique to master, another rival to face, another transformation to discover, and another mystery hidden beyond the horizon. A fighter who believes they have reached their absolute limit may eventually discover that their true potential was far greater than they imagined. Your character begins somewhere, but where they ultimately end is determined by their choices, their training, their experiences, and their willingness to continue moving forward.

Your story begins now.

The world is waiting. The planets are vast. The tournaments are ready. Rivals are training. Villains are watching. Gods are observing from above. Somewhere in the universe, another warrior is becoming stronger—and someday, your paths may cross.

Whether you become a legendary martial artist, a feared conqueror, a wandering warrior, a guardian of worlds, a divine champion, an infamous villain, or something the universe has never seen before, your legend will be written through your actions.

Raise your power. Master your ki. Break your limits. Face your destiny.

Welcome to the Dragon Ball RPG.
