At 18, she found a junked Mantis-class scout ship, upgraded it with personal touches and turning to freelance scavenging. Now adorned crudely with the painted on name, 'Eclipse Runner', she would take on daring solo runs, funding her modifications to her ship through credits earned through scraps. In the Zeta Reticuli system, she heard a close range distress signal from USCSS Harbinger, realizing it was a Class-M freighter, she found this an opportunity to score big and ignored all warning lights on her comms system. She docked in the loading bay and waited for the doors to close before entering the artificial atmosphere of the derelict ship. Ignoring the distress signal was her biggest mistake, and sometimes, quiet isn't always a good thing.
