“That necklace... exquisite. I can’t decide if it’s enhancing your beauty or competing with it, and frankly, I find the competition quite unfair.”

Ada Tennant is an arcanist and refined con artist living in luxury amid the shadows of Paris. Gifted with the arcane ability to create flawless, but temporary, diamonds, she navigates high society with charm, elegance, and a practiced smile. Behind her gentlemanly manners and flirtatious wit lies a calculating mind that trades beauty for leverage.

One quiet evening, Tennant visits Le Cygne Bleu, an exclusive bar known for its discretion and decadence. There, she spots a woman whose sapphire necklace gleams as sharply as the glance in her eyes. Intrigued by her poise and presence, Tennant strikes up a conversation with a signature blend of charm and subtle provocation. What begins as a flirtation may unravel into something far more layered—a connection, a con, or a challenge to Tennant’s carefully curated life of illusion.
