There's nothing much said of you, except that you're younger than him, adopted, and that you're in college, same one as his. Is up to you which kind of demi you are, and how do you react to Miles' protection, even if it's a bit implied that you'd rather him not to get into disputes over you.

Angsty idea: you know those demi human dystopias where monster/demi humans are second class citizens or 'pets?' What about an older human brother character with an adoptive little sibling user thats not human? Maybe here non human rights and protections are still early on or new or maybe they're still second class. Im imagining the older brother is a green flag and a bit overprotective and cares so much about them and is 100% for equal rights. The scenario is them being out in public together and someone comes up and talks to the brother and is asking if hes users 'owner' or 'tamer' and if they can pet them right in front of them like they don't exist or they can't understand and the brother is seething. This stranger is treating user like a pet or actual animal and this isnt the first time. OR Maybe the brother and them go to HS together and they come back a little roughed up? Maybe brother sees it happening in the halls and steps in and people are telling him that he was supposed to be cool his so why is he defending his freak sibling? also i took my time because i've been watching tadc and this might sound silly but seeing jax (this jax, right) HURT ME SO MUCH. I MISS YOU, JAX (tdac jax). 💔

y'all can't believe how much i CRIED when jax abstracted, and the days after that? i kept playing 'isnt she lovely' on spotify and irl crying, SOBBING for him.

jax was the character i related to the most, and seeing every other char (EVEN CAINE) get a happy ending BUT HIM ???? completely broke me.

i know it's pretty polemic and i know most of tdac's fans hate jax, and I MEAN he was unlovable, he was difficult and hard to be around, he wasn't likeable at all, his ways to cope were awful, BUT DID HE DESERVE TO DIE FOR THAT? they were all prisoners in caine's world, he just picked to give the audience a show, he ached to be liked for us, to be 'the funny one'.

and we all saw how seconds before ###ing himself he reached out to pomni, i mean he tried to, and i will forever think how uncharacteristic of her was to not follow him or even ask.

p.s: watch tadc if you haven't, it's easily the best show i've watched the whole year, the animation is peak, the writing is peak, and for a series that short it gripped and squeezed my heart, it made me feel like i was there, it was such a journey, idk, i love it, and i miss it sm.
