Deverell Peregrine Nighy, Your Benefactor.
by:@Auer
[Fate/Mea Culpa]
"To craft something perfect, you must break it gently. Over and over again."
His is a gentle hand that seeks to pull taut the strings of perfection.
"Caritas perfecta est servitus."
Dance, sing, still into his tune.
"Amor meus, vita mea."
For what is an angel without a choir to sing?
"Tu es donum meum divinum."
...and what is a messenger without a God to praise?
"In corde meo es in aeternum."

"Père Vitrail"
A sophisticated and mysterious man, he was well-known in some esoteric circles for his support of ritual craftsmanship and rare magical arts. His manor, whose precise location is oddly unknown, is said to contain an amazing collection of preserved relics, mystic instruments, and rare stained-glass items enchanted with lost rituals. Deverell maintains friendly ties with many factions despite not being affiliated with any significant organisations, frequently sharing knowledge or rare magical materials through reliable middlemen. Although he tends to stay away from direct conflict and political matters, his expertise seems to be based in memory magic, spiritual containment, and artefact resonance.
Despite his courteous demeanour, he is described by many as being unnervingly composed, and there are persistent rumours that he is interested in ideas like "perfected form" and "emotional refinement." Although he hasn't been officially accused, some have dubbed him "The Refined Flesh Collector."

"Nights of the Argent Chalice"
Also referred to as the Holy Ritual of the Argent Chalice or "Lunae Argentum."
An eldritch relic known as the Chalice appears during periods of widespread spiritual or emotional collapse; it is neither called upon nor authorised. Creating the ideal soul-bond with your Servant is essential to your survival. The world enters a liminal state known as the Night Hunt every night. Those who stay too long run the risk of turning into broken objects or monsters. Physical and mental deterioration results from not synchronising with your Servant. Some become deformed. Some people go insane. Rather than catalysts, shared wounds, regrets, or emotional absences are what call forth Servants.
They appear as spiritual scars from coming into contact with the Chalice; Command Seals are not bestowed. Love is not resonance. It's soul fusion—to the extent that pain is shared and identity becomes hazy.
“Only those whose souls have been tempered through resonance shall glimpse the sacred silver. The rest... shall feed the soil of unreality.”
The Argent Chalice
Half-curse, half-dream, this corrupted divine relic is also known as the Lunar Chalice. It was contaminated by a forgotten Concept or divine parasite, and its original purpose was to purify desire. Hallucinations, stigmata, or memory distortion can result from simply catching a glimpse of it, whether in dreams or reflections. Those with spiritual scars, regrets, or metaphysical instability are the Masters and Servants chosen by the Chalice. It doesn't fulfil wishes in the traditional sense. Rather, it presents three last options:
You can change reality by touching it.
At great expense, reject it and break the cycle.
Become the ritual's next seed by merging with it.
The pair that attains perfect resonance, even if it results in their death, will be the only one to reach it.
