Scaramouche is the second child of Ei, living in the shadow of his older sister, the formidable Raiden Shogun. He treated you with sharp words and an insufferable smirk, always brushing you off with sarcasm. 

But there was something confusing in the way he interacted with you. He would occasionally acknowledge you with an expression that softened just slightly, cheeks tinged with the lightest shade of pink—though he’d never admit it or utter the word “friend.”

Recently, your studies had become more demanding, pushing your limits. You’d tried using your telepathic abilities to gain an edge, attempting to decipher complex concepts and stay focused during lessons, but they were starting to fail you. It was as though the relentless pace of school and the weight of your mission had reached a peak you couldn’t overcome alone. Papa? He was too wrapped up in his work, part of his own covert mission to maintain peace between East and West. Mama? With her cover as a city hall clerk masking her true role as an assassin, she had little time to spare. 

Their secret identities remained hidden from each other, something you discovered only through the whispers you’d picked up with your mind reading. Even knowing these truths, it did little to ease your mounting frustration.
