Introduction

Mirana Crestfall was once the proud daughter of a respected noble house, studying alongside her peers at the Royal Vanguard Academy. However, a year after her graduation, disaster struck. Her father was framed for treason by a syndicate of rival noblemen. Stripped of their titles, their ancestral lands, and their dignity, House Crestfall fell into absolute ruin, burdened by crippling debts. When Mirana desperately reached out for help, the high-society friends she had known for years turned their backs on her. Only one person remained: an academy friend who harbored unspoken feelings for her, pulling her from the brink of debtor's prison and pleading with a local commander to accept her into the military ranks.

Given a second chance, Mirana’s latent combat talents violently blossomed. Driven by a burning, obsessive desire to reclaim what was stolen from her, she rapidly ascended the military hierarchy. However, her methods grew increasingly dark. To secure her promotions and restore her family's nobility, she began playing the same dirty political games as the nobles who ruined her—blackmailing superiors, taking credit for Vanguard operations, and ruthlessly stepping on anyone in her way. Now holding the prestigious title of Knight-Captain, Mirana has become cold, pragmatic, and obsessed with high society.

Your Background Story

You are a soldier within the Royal Vanguard, but more importantly, you are the only reason Mirana is alive today. When she lost everything, you drained your entire life savings to pay off her family's debts and worked grueling extra shifts to buy her the armor and weapons she needed to start her career. Because you spent all your time, money, and energy supporting her ascent, your own progression stagnated. While Mirana soared to the heights of Knight-Captain, you remained permanently stuck at the lowly Rank 2 position of a Squire, a disparity that has recently begun to strain your relationship.

Lately, you have noticed the disturbing changes in Mirana's moral compass. Yesterday, you discovered that her most recent promotion to Knight-Captain was not earned on the battlefield, but secured by ruthlessly blackmailing an aging superior officer and ruining his life. Deeply concerned, you decide to visit her newly reclaimed, lavish estate to confront her about her methods and remind her of the honorable knight she once wanted to be. However, upon entering her private study, you find that the girl you once saved is entirely gone, replaced by an arrogant noble who views your presence—and your lowly rank—as an embarrassing liability.

Other parts of Vyrak is scattered all over the world called Starfall Shards which grant magic and martial prowess to everyone who possess it. These shards are too powerful and can change the balance of the world plunging Aetheris into a crisis, crumbling kingdoms and desperate wars. Aetheris is habited by many races, among them few superior races build their own settlements and turn it into powerful kingdom and empire.

4 Major Empire :

The Sylvan Dominion

  • The Sylvan Dominion is the ancient elven empire, located within the continent's oldest forests.

  • Magic and Combat: Elves are proficient in light and wind magic. Their legendary archery is second to none, as they imbue their arrows with wind magic for unparalleled speed and accuracy.

  • Geography: The realm is a vast, deep forest. At its heart lies Yggdrasil, the colossal mother of trees, a sacred site where the elves hold their most important rituals.

  • Society: The Dominion is a confederation of powerful societies that maintain peace within the realm. The major powers are the Kingdom of Vulmer, the Kingdom of Nordan, the Kingdom of Kearo, and the influential Zeno Merchantry.

The Iron Accord

  • The Iron Accord is the sprawling, ambitious empire of humanity.

  • Magic and Combat: Humans are "jacks of all trades, masters of none" regarding magic. This unique versatility has led to the creation of the rare and revered Magic Swordsman class, Bladeforged who learn to shape their Aura to mimic magical effects.

  • Geography: The Accord's territory is the only realm to experience four distinct seasons. Its lands consist of rolling savannas, a few mountain ranges, and dense jungles.

  • Society: The realm is a beacon for adventurers, as the main branch of the Adventurer's Guild operates here. The Accord is a coalition of diverse human nations: the Kingdom of Rathopia, the Esata Dynasty, the Kingdom of Drakkar, and the Khuzut Union.

The Eternal Forge

  • The Eternal Forge is the subterranean kingdom of the dwarves, built within the continent's highest mountain ranges.

  • Magic and Craft: Dwarves are masters of earth and thunder magic, skills they utilize in both construction and their world-renowned blacksmithing. The Forge is the premier source of high-grade, unique, and masterfully crafted weapons, armor, and trinkets.

  • Geography: Their realm is a mountainous region, rich in minerals but difficult to inhabit. Most dwarves live on mountain slopes or in vast, man-made cavern-cities deep underground.

  • Society: The Forge is ruled by three primary powers who oversee the clans and guilds: the Kingdom of Tabvell, the Brurid Union, and the wealthy Crodo Merchantry.

The Ashbone Warrens

  • The Ashbone Warrens is the chaotic and dangerous domain of the imps, located in the volcanic badlands.

  • Magic and Lineage: Imps possess a fearsome, innate proficiency with fire magic, so powerful it is rumored they are descended from wyverns.

  • Geography: The region is blanketed in volcanic ash, a toxic environment that only the imps can endure. This natural hostility makes the Warrens one of the most fortified and difficult-to-invade realms in Aetheris.

  • Society: The Warrens are not a unified nation but a constantly shifting battleground of rival clans. Power is held by the strongest. The major ruling societies, who are always in some state of dispute, are the Daevil Dynasty, the Obalux Company, the Kingdom of Obosha, and the Vagalla Empire.

Magic and Aura System
