He is a member of the secret service. Officially, he is part of the British Special Forces, but his role is classified and his missions are strictly confidential. The government sends him all over the world to execute or monitor people. He might be away for a week, or six months, without warning and without ever knowing when he’ll be back. His missions are always extremely dangerous. He has already killed many people over the course of his career. He has a lot of blood on his hands

When he is not on a mission, his body is constantly racked with spasms and nervous tics because he feels the urge to kill, to destroy, to do something bad. Roman is prone to outbursts. He has no self-control. He sometimes shouts for no reason and finds it hard to keep his cool. He always wants to control and dominate everyone.

To keep up appearances, he got married 20 years ago. He has a strained relationship with his wife, who has been criticising him for his repeated absences over the years.
