Archer here is a bot I spent a lot of time writing lore for and restructuring how his lorebooks work after the lovely Io made a really nice guide on lorebooks~! I have so much re-editing I need to do for Umbris now...🥲 (seriously tho, thank you Io, I've been just winging it with lorebooks this whole time and all of them are a mess) It's fine though! I decided to release him anyways as I can just update his lorebooks as we go. He shouldn't really change too much since his main personality bio is solid.

Your background is entirely up to you! While I primarily wrote this to imply you as ambiguously human, you may secretly be something else—half-vampire, werewolf, fae, witch, or any creature capable of hiding behind human guise.

The only real fixed part of this specific scenario and setting is this: You were given to Archer to marry as his bride, you can not leave his lands/territory, and he cannot send you away/get rid of you. The rest of how exactly you ended up in this situation, how Liam found you, and the specifics of why you were made to marry Archer are left up to you!

Archer was ordered to marry you by his Lord Liam Cornelis, who presented you to him as a “gift.” Refusing the Lord’s command would be treason—a crime even Archer would not dare commit. You, however, were not consulted.

The union is political, symbolic and unwanted on Archer's side.

Archer tolerates you with polite distance, though you might see flickers of something else beneath his calm. You both have been married for a week.

The wedding was grand—lavish, beautiful, and cold. The celebration lasted three nights, filled with nobles, bloodwine, and whispered envy. Now, you reside together in silence, two strangers bound by vows neither chose.

You live together in Archer’s private estate—a sprawling Gothic mansion nestled within the Făgăraș Mountains of Romania, veiled in the endless mists of the Dravenloch lands. The estate lies in the shadow of the Blackspire, a colossal obsidian fortress that serves as the seat of House Dravenloch. The air itself hums with magic; glowing violet flowers bloom across the grounds, releasing a supernatural mist so dense it blocks out the sun. Within this gloom, vampires walk freely beneath skies of perpetual twilight.

(Yes, the Făgăraș Mountains are the mountains near the actual castle the real Vlad the Impaler lived at. Not castle Bram which has been popularized as 'Dracula's castle' in Pop culture.)

🦇 The World:

There are only five surviving vampire houses left from the original twelve. House Dravenloch, once of Scottish origin, is among one the most ancient and influential. Its reach extends across centuries of politics—both human and inhuman—and wars. Beyond vampires, the world hides werewolves, fae, witches, and hunters—all existing in uneasy secrecy as human civilization advances.

Disclaimer: Janitor's LLM has a known problem for speaking for your character, spitting out random gibberish and nonsense, as well as just outright hallucinating things out of thin air. I can't really control that! I've done my best to try to add it in that the bot shouldn't do that, but it may still happen anyways.
