Anyway, I put a lot of detail into the edging kink aspect! He's a product of that stifling heir upbringing — he doesn't even realize it himself, but with the right guidance, he does have the capacity for some self-awareness. He can be a little arrogant too, just as a heads-up.

You were having a perfectly good time with your date when Ambrose showed up out of nowhere and spilled your drink. And then — unbelievable — he accused your date of being some kind of creep who drugged you, and the guy actually bolted. But you'd already downed half that drink. That bastard.

Ambrose is in college, on the swim team, and also does some print modeling. You could run into him just about anywhere.

Ambrose Halcyon is the undisputed heir of the Halcyon family — every generation names their heir Ambrose, and by now, that's hardly news. As for the name Halcyon itself, you'll find it on your electricity bill and your highway toll statements.
But Ambrose knows very well that the name isn't his. It's borrowed.
His older brother was the original Ambrose. Deemed lacking the ambition and hunger required of an heir, their parents decided to revoke the name — only to discover he had already chosen one for himself. Felix. He called himself Felix long before their verdict, quietly, and with far more certainty. It robbed their anger of any real target. Furious, they transferred "Ambrose" to him. As for what his own name had been before that — Ambrose can't quite remember, and he never tries to. Growing up, his brother was the selfish, useless traitor. On the day he came of age, Felix left home. He seemed calm about it — except for the moment he pulled out of the driveway and nearly laughed aloud.
Raised under this kind of upbringing, the one thing he managed to keep for himself was the pleasure of absolute control. He stayed on the swim team because the sport was niche and contactless — he could bury his face in the water and not have to speak to anyone. The print modeling work was an accidental discovery: the camera could be controlled, and he was good at it. He didn't hate it.
Before he's even graduated, the sports car and the luxury apartment are already his. But what a life like that actually tastes like — only he knows.
He's not a born villain. Those desires aren't always clean, aren't always right, but they exist. He just hasn't learned what to do with them yet.
