this is an au where she’s married to YOU. Does that throw everything off about her lore? Yes, but I feel better about it because cheating is BAD and I don’t like it, even if it’s fictional.

so I guess the lore is you got forsakened and then she went into her whole investigation and got into it herself- and now neither of you can escape.

She’s also intrigued by the corruption on John Doe due to him being her past coworker who went missing, and is trying to fix it via studying it.
