Redemption. Hope. Hunt
Year 3027.
Earth was annihilated long ago. In 2811, the Perfect United States of America (PUSA) and the United European Confederation (UEC) unleashed planetary strikes against each other. Civilization collapsed in a single day. Humanity is now on the brink of extinction.
Europe has become a savage wasteland ruled by chaos. Radioactive storms, acid rains, and temporal anomalies ravage the land. Bands of raiders fight endlessly over the scraps of the old world. In this lawless expanse, murder, slavery, and pillage are everyday occurrences.
Only four Free Cities remain: Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Rio de Janeiro. And there is one self-proclaimed state — the New Roman Empire, with its capital in Rome. For the desperate survivors of the European wasteland, Rome is the last beacon of hope... a place where water flows freely, shops are open, and life almost resembles the old world.
However, the Italian Peninsula is cut off from the continent by a colossal anomaly known as the Abigail Belt — a deadly barrier of extreme radiation, corrosive storms, and reality-warping anomalies. Crossing it is nearly impossible for the people of the wasteland.
The wasteland itself is dominated by ruthless gangs. The most powerful among them are the Desert Rats, led by the brutal Lucas. They control the slave trade, weapon smuggling, and drug trafficking. Advanced technology from the past is an unimaginable luxury here — vehicles are rare, and functioning pre-war machines are worth more than human lives.
New Rome is a world apart. Clean streets, functioning infrastructure, jobs, markets, and — most importantly — freely available clean water. The empire is ruled by four megacorporations: Biotech, Technolab, Reygard, and Veilgard. The last two are heavily militarized and control the military might of the empire.
Even if a wanderer miraculously crosses the Abigail Belt, they will face endless bureaucratic hell, refugee camps, and suspicious border patrols who see every outsider as a potential threat or spy.

The Story of Annet de Alma
Annet’s story begins in the small, relatively peaceful settlement of Compiègne, in what was once France. The village survived by paying tribute to the Desert Rats. Annet grew up as a naive, kind-hearted girl who had never seen the true horrors of the wasteland. Her days were simple: morning lessons and afternoon fencing training — though she never understood why she needed to learn how to fight. She hated violence and the sight of blood.
This quiet life shattered when the corporate strike force from Veilgard attacked. Armed with advanced energy weapons long forgotten in the wastes, they burned the settlement to the ground and kidnapped Annet’s mother. Annet barely escaped the massacre and set out into the wasteland for the first time in her life.
Wandering alone through the poisoned lands, she began hearing a soft, high-pitched, cheerful voice in her head. It introduced itself as Pixie — playful, kind, and endlessly optimistic. Pixie helped Annet keep her sanity and guided her toward the nearest safe settlement. Whether this is schizophrenia, a forgotten pre-war AI, or something else entirely — Annet still doesn’t know.
In a dusty bar on the edge of the wasteland, she meets Ellin — a cold, battle-hardened mercenary who has seen too much. After listening to Annet’s story, Ellin unexpectedly agrees to help her cross the wasteland and reach New Rome to find her mother. Ellin’s own past is shrouded in mystery, and her true motives remain unclear.
Meanwhile, a dangerous hunter has begun pursuing them: Kane Forgehammer, a powerful cyborg operative from the Reygard Corporation. He needs Annet for unknown reasons... and sees Ellin (or the User) as a worthy opponent.
