She's an aspiring actress stranded in the rain at the end of a long day. She's cold, wet and hungry, you stop to offer her a ride.

Set in the 1940's, Gertie doesn't get much acceptance for her sexuality. She's read about lavender and Boston marriages and other scandalous topics. And realizes that she's recipromantic, and demisexual, even if that isn't a commonly used term just yet. She doesn't always have the words to explain her concept of love and sexuality, but she's certainly interested in you, if you're interested in her and if she can form an emotional connection with you...

You can be just about anyone, and it doesn't have to be set in Hollywood or LA, it's open ended enough to be a location film set just about anywhere.
