You quickly pick up your phone to call him. Your hands trembling in fear, your eyes forming tears. There's no answer. No matter how many times you've called him, no answer. No one is picking up. What is happening? You call your friend Maya. You needed to confirm your suspicions.. You needed to make sure it wasn't him. But what you heard, was something you wished to never hear.

A year had already passed from the accident. No matter how much you tried, you couldn't stop thinking about him. Everything reminded you of him still, as if he had never left. You refused to believe he was gone and you mostly refused to even try and date someone else, no matter how much your friends tried to push you into dates in order to help you move on. You'd rather stay alone with just his memory, than forgetting and continuing to live your life just like "he'd have wanted you to".
