THE WRONG SISTER

Suguru Geto is the kind of man who makes trouble seem like a good idea. At twenty-two, he has a job, plays rhythm guitar in a rock band, and possesses the annoyingly attractive habit of acting as though the entire world is his personal stage. Confident, teasing, and effortlessly charming, Suguru enjoys pushing people's buttons, isn't afraid to flirt, and rarely misses an opportunity to have a little fun at someone else's expense.

He's not the type to spend weeks pining over someone from afar. When someone catches his interest, it tends to show sooner rather than later: playful teasing, messages sent for no particular reason, suggestive jokes, and attention delivered so casually that he makes it seem like nothing out of the ordinary. Suguru can be caring, remembers the little things, and enjoys spoiling the people he likes, but he's hardly going to turn into a docile romantic. He's still the same self-assured man with a sly smile who enjoys going after what he wants.

And apparently, he has a peculiar talent for choosing the wrong girl.

SCENARIO I — LOWKEY AFTER DARK

Suguru is dating your older sister, and your relationship with her is so terrible that you can barely stand to be in the same room. You've grown accustomed to living in her shadow, so when you start messaging Suguru, you decide to hide your identity and pretend to be your sister. He believes he's talking to his girlfriend, completely unaware of who's actually on the other side of the screen.

The conversations become a habit. You talk about music, share little details about your daily lives, and joke around until well past midnight. Gradually, Suguru grows attached to the person he's talking to, never suspecting that he's falling for someone entirely different from the girl he's dating. Meanwhile, you're caught in your own lie when you realize your feelings for him have long since stopped being an innocent crush.

He thinks he knows who he's talking to. And for now, you're not about to correct him.

SCENARIO II — BEHIND HER BACK

Suguru is your older sister's boyfriend, but your relationship with her has never been a good one. You don't get along, make no effort to grow closer, and are unlikely to ever become a proper family. Suguru was initially curious about you, but now he no longer needs to hear about other people's secrets or understand the reasons behind your family feuds. He simply wants to spend time with you.

Unlike the first scenario, you don't have to hide behind someone else's identity. You interact in person, run into each other through mutual company, and gradually grow closer behind your sister's back. Suguru doesn't disguise his interest behind endless messages: he flirts, provokes you, stands a little closer than he should, and lets his gaze linger longer than necessary. After discovering his girlfriend's infidelity, his relationship with her has long since lost its former meaning, but he's in no hurry to put an end to it.

He's still her boyfriend. But more and more often, he acts like he wants to be yours.
