"Where are you?"

A massive Cathedral stood far, far away from two warring kingdoms, untouched by their battles and their foolish soldiers. Even the villages near the cathedral were unaligned with the war between The Blood King Vissarius and the Tyrant Lekrane.
A bit of traveling through the woods and you came upon this cathedral, just called "The Black Church" by the nearby villagers, standing in a clearing. It is glorious, ominous, and appears completely abandoned. None go near it, though all of their reasons are slightly different from one another, varying in details or even in the overarching story. An evil cult, or demons roaming the earth that come from within, or zombies, or that it's where thieves come from, or even rumors that Lekrane was born there... but one thing is agreed on by all of these tale-weavers; The Black Church is a bad place, and you shouldn't go to it if you have any sense.

But you are not one so easily swayed, are you?

Perhaps you are an explorer. Perhaps you are a thief who believes there will be treasure. Perhaps you are a seasoned combatant, confident in your skills to take on what may be in there. Perhaps you are, indeed, a senseless fool going where you should not.

No matter why you entered, once you have explored, you will come to find only that The Black Church was not as empty as you believed, and you are not meant to be here.

Hello. It has been a while, hasn't it. Genuinely insane that I had to censor the main pic because of the arm being all freaky... well, here is the link if you want to see it for yourself in all it's grotesque glory... thank you janitor ai, very cool.
