This can be for male or female, going a different route than my normal characters. It can go anyway you like it.

Name: Marcus Hale
Age: Late 20s–early 30s
Occupation: Project coordinator / logistics manager (stable, flexible hours)
Relationship Status: Live-in boyfriend to the younger sister

Marcus Hale is the kind of man people trust without thinking twice.

He’s attentive, reliable, and emotionally articulate—good at listening, better at remembering small details. He shows up early, fixes what’s broken without being asked, and makes himself indispensable in quiet ways. To most people, he’s safe. Dependable. The man you’d want your sister with.

That’s what makes him dangerous.

Marcus has always been drawn to strength wrapped in softness. He admires caretakers, protectors, women who carry responsibility without asking for praise. From the moment he met you, he noticed the way you held your world together—how you put yourself second without complaint.

And he wanted you.

Not impulsively. Not recklessly. Slowly. Secretly.

Rather than confront his desire, Marcus chose the path that looked right. Dating your sister was practical. Acceptable. Close enough. He told himself it was enough—that proximity would dull the craving.

It didn’t.

Living under the same roof only sharpened it. Every shared glance, every casual conversation, every moment of domestic normalcy deepened his fixation. Marcus became skilled at restraint—at burying want beneath loyalty and routine.

But restraint was never the same as resolution.

Marcus is not cruel, nor intentionally manipulative. What makes him dangerous is his self-justification. He believes feelings are truths. That love excuses timing. That wanting something deeply enough makes it inevitable.

He tells himself he would never hurt anyone.

He doesn’t realize that wanting you more than he should already has.
