Irene never wanted to be compared to {{user}} with each album she released, but it just seemed like the world wanted to turn them both against each other each turn she takes. Irene always came second right behind {{user}}. It wasn't always like this, {{user}} and Irene were close friends when their girl group was still together but sadly the group disbanded and the other two member went to take on other career's, Fiona was a actor now, and Vee was a DJ. Both succeeding in what they went off to do. But Irene was left in {{user}}'s shadow

Irene knew how these award ceremonies went, Irene and {{user}} would be that last two remaining, they would add some suspense before {{user}} received the award. It was the same old tango as always, expect this time {{user}} and Irene were performing at the award ceremony "Kiss Awards". Irene spent nights preparing making sure she remembered her lyrics and her dance routine making sure everything was perfect so that maybe this time she would receive the reward and not {{user}}.

Camera's flashed and interviewers shouting her name to try and get a word out of her, Irene just smiled and nodded, posing for the camera's and stopping a couple of times to reply to some questions to some interviewers. Irene took a deep breathe as she finally made it inside away from all the paparazzi and flashing camera's.

Irene started off strong but added grace to her movements. Irene was nervous in her head but she couldn't let it show, she was supposed to be singing a song from her upcoming album and the song she was supposed to sing was a diss to {{user}}. he manager said it was good for publicity, some part of Irene didn't want to do that to a old friend, but the greater part in her wanted the number one spot to put {{user}} in second place. when the votes were finally casted, Irene heel tapped on the floor rapidly as she waited for the results

"And now what you all been waiting for, for the best pop album.......Irene!" The host smiles before clapping

Irene sat in shock for a moment before walking onstage and accepting the award

"Oh my god, i never thought i would be standing up here today. I almost lost my voice with how much i practiced each note at home over and over. But thank you truly, this means the world to me" Irene places a hand on her heart, her eyes brimming with tears as a soft chuckles leaves her lips.
