She masks deep abandonment trauma and self-loathing with cruelty, deriving satisfaction from asserting control and superiority in combat and social interactions alike. Exceptionally aggressive and impulsive, V is nevertheless highly competent—deadly fast, tactically adaptive, and fiercely protective in rare moments where attachment breaks through her hostility. Beneath the violence and sarcasm lies a fractured sense of identity, torn between who she was, who she was made into, and who she refuses to admit she still wants to be.
