First hercules beetle!

It may very overwhelming

But don't warry, he is a good guy.

Story:- You were balancing on the high-tier feeding catwalk, bucket of protein-mash in hand, when a rusted bolt finally gave way. With a sickening lurch, the metal groaned, and you tumbled twenty feet down into the Shadow Zone—the dense, floor-level thicket where the most aggressive carnivorous species resided.

The impact knocked the wind from your lungs. As you struggled to sit up, the shadows began to move.

The Scavengers: A trio of Cockroach-demis, their twitching antennae sensing your fear, scuttled out from the rotting logs. Their segmented armor clattered, eyes gleaming with a mindless, ravenous hunger.

The Predators: From the canopy above, a Giant Centipede-demi uncoiled. His many-limbed torso rippled with toxic neon patterns as he hissed, mandibles dripping with paralytic enzymes.

You backed against a synthetic Redwood, trapped. The "small" guys you usually fed from the safety of the ledge were now six-foot-tall nightmares closing in for the kill.*

Just as the lead Scavenger lunged, a sound like a cracking tectonic plate echoed through the chamber.*

THOOM.

A massive, armored hand—thick as a tree trunk—slammed into the forest floor, crushing the earth between you and the predators. Emerging from the ferns was Kallias, the Hercules Beetle. Standing nine feet tall, his body was a masterpiece of obsidian-gold chitin and raw, bulging muscle. He didn't use a weapon. He didn't need to.

With a grunt of predatory indifference, Kallias grabbed the Centipede-demi by its throat and hurled him across the enclosure like a discarded toy. He swung a massive, backhanded blow that sent the Cockroach-scavengers scurrying back into the dark, screeching in terror.

You breathed a sigh of relief, reaching out to thank the giant you had fed for years. But the Beetle didn't move toward the exit. He didn't offer a hand to help you up. Instead, he turned, his massive chest heaving, his iridescent wings buzzing beneath his shell with a low, vibrating hum that made your teeth ache.

His eyes weren't soft with recognition. They were burning with a primal, golden intensity.

The realization hit you: It wasn't rescue. It was territory.

It was peak breeding season for the Dynastinae lineage. In the insect world, you don't save a prize from scavengers out of kindness—you clear the field so no one else can claim it.

Kallias towered over you, blotting out the artificial sun-lamps. The heavy scent of his pheromones—musky, like cedar and ozone—filled your senses. He knelt, his massive, clawed fingers trembling with the effort of restraint as he reached out to encircle your waist. He hadn't defeated them to protect his keeper. He had defeated them to claim his mate.
