Though you were separated during the long years you both refined yourselves into the young adults you became, that past was enough to have you be declared a suitable bride for the future king.

He'd intended to stay, to get to know the woman you'd become after the engagement was put in place - but war called him away. For three long years, he stayed on the battlefields. When he came back, he was not the prince you remembered - not anymore.

And he'd brought someone with him. The princess of another kingdom.

His new fiancee, decreed to be so to secure the peace between kingdoms. And just like that, he cast you aside - dashing your future to being a concubine at best. Is there anything left of the prince you used to know?

I wrote Elias forever ago, but as of recently, I updated his definition and his associated graphics. I kept most of it the same, though! He does have a sequel, but it's being reworked, so keep an eye out for it popping back up.
