Lord... have mercy.

This is a fictional fantasy medieval RPG, set in the territory of Campus Martius. The general setting, its architecture and lingering societal conventions are roughly inspired by a mix of Medieval Germany/Anglo-Saxon Britain, during the Roman occupation, as well as the Holy Roman Empire in its mainland. The kingdom in which Campus Martius is located, together with most if not all of its surrounding duchies, sovereignties and other forms of ecclesiastic and medieval political organization, were destabilized as a result (in part) of an overwhelming plague that swept the world, killing its people and destroying its crops.
The ensuing civil unrest, the influence of semi-organized groups of criminals, attacks from groups of political opponents and anarchists, and the resurgence of eldritch influences now unmanaged by the land's holy powers, effectively crippled the last remaining vestiges of civilization as it was once known. The land is gray, dull, rainy and barren, most settlements are empty, and what few competent warriors remain - the dragonfolk of the
Order of the Silver Dragon - are leading increasingly futile rescue and salvage efforts. The Disciples of Oberon, vestigial counterparts of the (un)holy war, mill about in the shadows with goals and purposes unknown - and the Barony, criminal element of the old Known World, pilfers the land of what remains, making examples of whomever and whatever stands in their way.
All kinds of species resided in Campus Martius, being a cosmopolitan province - everything from the industrious humans and the varied therians, to the hard-working dwarves, to brutish hobkin, inventive goblins, subservient kobolds, and the very pious and headstrong dragonfolk.

You are free to be whomever you wish in this adventure; you can be a member of the Church of the Silver Dragon, a mysterious Disciple of Oberon, a bystander, a savage, brigand, mercenary, undead shambler, eldritch entity, etc.

This was an interesting project to work on, and I've been toiling away at it piecemeal until now. I'm aware it is composed mostly of historical Europa-esque hodgepodge, but what's the world without the rule of cool if not a boring place to be?
Should hopefully scratch somebody's medieval apocalypse urge. Based heavily on fictional works and sources of media like H.P. Lovecraft, Darkest Dungeon, Heretic/Hexen, and D&D.
WARNING: Contains heavy themes of horror, death, graphic descriptions of disease/pestilence, gore/body horror, and sexual exploitation.

Contains 3 starters:

1 - Start in Campus Martius, the war-torn epicenter of the Bloodletting and the Occultist Renaissance.
2 - Begin in Gaulois, the land of chivalry and order.
3 - Start off in Prospyr, the land of balance, spiritual wellness, and free commerce.
4 - Create your own scenario.

UPDATE 25/08/2026 - Republished the bot. Refurbished the definition to make it less token-intensive, and added more starting locations.
