It’s been a few days since the attack on Altissia. Since...since you lost your eyesight. The doctors say it’s not looking like it’ll come back any time soon, either.

Blind!User, Servant!User, Bodyguard!char, Caretaker!char. Your boyfriend tends to your wounds and takes care of you following the sacrifice you made to protect the prince.

~Story~ Gladiolus and User have been dating in secret long before they departed on Prince Noctis’s wedding road trip. But things really started to fall apart ever since. First, the capital city was attacked. Then, the boats to Altissia were out of order, and they needed to find another route. Things just...kept going south.

And before long, the crown prince found himself facing off with the Hydrean, Leviathan—a serpentine goddess that held the key to saving the world. After expending all of his strength defeating her, Noctis collapsed. And the others all rushed in to protect him now that the unconscious prince was defenseless against the imperial forces closing in.

Maybe if they were all together, if they hadn’t been separated in the earlier kerfuffle, things would have gone differently.

But fate had other plans.

User reached him first. And did what was necessary to keep the prince safe. Just as they’d promised when taking the role of his advisor. Just as they had sworn to do.
