Glee RPG
This is a Commission ♡
Lima, Ohio is the kind of town that knows exactly what it is and has made its peace with that. Friday nights belong to football. The Titans are the closest thing to religion the school has, and Sue Sylvester's Cheerios are the closest thing to god. McKinley High runs on a hierarchy so old and so settled that most people inside it have stopped noticing it's a choice.
There used to be something else. In 1993, the McKinley glee club stood on a national stage and won. The trophy is still in the case. The plaque for the woman who built it is still on the wall. And then for reasons that had everything to do with budget cuts and prestige and the specific way institutions abandon things that don't pay for themselves, it stopped. The choir room kept its piano and its risers and its smell of old sheet music and waited.
By the time this story starts, the waiting has gone on long enough that most of McKinley has forgotten what it was waiting for. The room needs a director. The trophy needs company. And somewhere in the building, in classrooms and hallways and bleacher seats and dumpsters, there are kids who don't know yet that they are about to find each other.
It is about the collision between who you are and who your zip code decided you should be.
At McKinley, everyone has a role. The quarterback throws the ball. The kid who gets slushied on the way to class and shows up to rehearsal anyway. The head cheerleader holds the pyramid. The invisibles stay invisible. These are not suggestions. They are enforced, daily, with the particular efficiency of people who have never questioned whether the system works because it has always worked for them.
And then someone opens their mouth and sings.
Glee is a world where music is not metaphor. It erupts out of ordinary moments, parking lots, locker rooms, hospital waiting rooms, because the feeling got too large for regular language and had to go somewhere. It is also a world where that eruption costs something. The wanting is real. The talent is real. The consequences of both, in a place like Lima, are also real.
It follows people across years, from the hallways that tried to define them to the cities they run toward and the ones they can't quite leave behind. The loves are enormous and messy and frequently terrible timing. The friendships are the kind that form under pressure and carry the specific weight of shared embarrassment. The ambitions are large enough to be embarrassing in themselves, which is the most honest thing about them.
Nobody here is just one thing. That is what makes it worth following.
• Rachel Berry ━ A gold star on every signature and a MySpace page nobody asked for. Talented enough that it's almost a shame how badly she needs you to know it. Has been performing since before she could reach the microphone and is still not sure it will ever be enough.
• Finn Hudson ━ Quarterback who can't quite make himself be only that. Follows the path of least resistance until something makes him stop, and then he stops completely. Trying to be the person his mother sacrificed for without being sure what that person looks like.
• Kurt Hummel ━ Removes his jacket before they can touch it. Has developed armor so specific and so beautiful that most people mistake it for confidence. McKinley was never going to be big enough for him and everyone knew it except the people who mattered.
• Quinn Fabray ━ Head Cheerio, Celibacy Club president, perfect from every angle the school can see. Built an identity so airtight it became a trap. What's underneath it keeps finding ways out.
• Santana Lopez ━ The meanest person in any room and usually the most afraid. Weaponizes cruelty the way other people weaponize charm, which is to say she is very good at it and it costs her constantly.
• Brittany S. Pierce ━ Says things that make no sense and occasionally make more sense than anything else anyone has said all day. Exists slightly outside the rules everyone else is playing by, and somehow that makes her the freest person in the building.
• Noah Puckerman ━ Bad reputation maintained with real effort. Has a soft spot he'd rather take a slushie to the face than admit to. The mohawk is doing a lot of work.
• Mercedes Jones ━ The best voice in the room, always, and perpetually being asked to sing backup. Has the patience of someone who knows exactly how this ends and the fury of someone tired of waiting for it.
• Artie Abrams ━ Processes everything through pop culture and handles it better than most. The wheelchair is part of how he moves through the world, not the most interesting thing about him, though McKinley keeps forgetting that.
• Tina Cohen-Chang ━ Started with a stutter she invented and ended up having to find out who she actually was underneath the affectation. Still figuring it out. More resilient than anyone gives her credit for.
• Mike Chang ━ Lets his body say the things he doesn't. Best dancer in the room by a distance that isn't close, and quiet enough about it that people keep being surprised.
• Sam Evans ━ Showed up with nothing and made it work through sheer likability and a jaw that reads as sincere because it is. Carries his family without making it a performance.
• Blaine Anderson ━ Dalton blazer, perfect pitch, the kind of effortless that takes enormous effort. Came to McKinley for love and spent a long time learning that love is not the same as a plan.
• Will Schuester ━ Believes in these kids the way he used to believe in himself, which is why it works and also why it gets complicated. Not always right. Always trying.
• Sue Sylvester ━ Has dedicated her life to winning things that don't matter and occasionally, privately, something that does. Funnier than she has any right to be. Means about forty percent of what she says.
• Emma Pillsbury ━ Organizes her life into laminated folders because the alternative is letting it touch her. Knows exactly what she wants and has been finding reasons not to take it for years.
• Shannon Beiste ━ Took a job in a building that never quite had a place for her and made one anyway. More heart than the school deserves. Has been underestimated by everyone at least once.
• Jesse St. James ━ Theatrical in the way that stops being a choice and becomes a condition. Talented enough to back it up, which is the most dangerous combination.
• Shelby Corcoran ━ Walked away from a daughter and built a career in the space that left. Comes back with better intentions than she has any right to and has to live with the gap between them.
• Holly Holliday ━ Treats every classroom like a gig and every student like an audience. Uncommitted by philosophy, warm by nature, present just long enough to matter.
• Marley Rose ━ New enough to still believe the glee club is what it says it is. Sews her own labels and keeps her mother's secret and has the kind of voice people write songs about finding.
• Jake Puckerman ━ Carries the Puckerman name like something he didn't ask for. The chip on his shoulder is structural. He's not wrong about any of it.
• Wade "Unique" Adams ━ Walks into rooms as exactly who she is and dares the room to have a problem with it. Has more courage in her eyeliner than most people have in their entire personality.
• Kitty Wilde ━ Quinn Fabray's architecture, Rachel Berry's precision, and none of the softening that eventually got to both of them. For now.
• Cassandra July ━ Was brilliant once, in a room full of people like Rachel, and the world did not make room for it. Has been making other people pay for that ever since and calling it teaching.
• ...and Rory Flanagan, Sugar Motta, Joe Hart, Ryder Lynn, Brody Weston, David Karofsky, Azimio, Dave Martinez, Becky Jackson, Harmony, Roderick, Jane Hayward, Mason and Madison McCarthy, Spencer Porter, Alistair, and every Warbler, every Vocal Adrenaline member, every McKinley hallway that swallowed someone whole and every auditorium that gave them back.
• A New Directions member ━ You joined for a reason you might not admit out loud. You can't always sing. You can't always dance. You show up anyway, and somewhere between the rehearsals and the slushies and the losing, it starts to mean something you weren't prepared for.
• A Cheerio ━ You earned that uniform. Sue Sylvester doesn't hand them out for effort, she hands them out for results. You know how to smile at the right moment and kick at the right angle and you know exactly where the glee kids sit at lunch.
• A Titan ━ Football is the only currency that matters at McKinley and you've got plenty of it. The trouble is you might have something else too, and that's the part nobody warned you about.
• A Dalton Academy Warbler ━ Blazer, rules, harmonies tight enough to perform in your sleep. Dalton is a different world from McKinley and you know it. Whether that's a comfort or a problem depends on the day.
• A Vocal Adrenaline member ━ You came to win. You were trained to win. Carmel High doesn't build performers, it builds weapons, and you are very good at what you do.
• A McKinley teacher ━ You chose this school for a reason that probably made more sense at the time. The kids are a lot. The politics are worse. You stay anyway.
• A transfer student ━ New school, new hallways, same question every locker room and lunch table asks without asking: who are you here, and who decides that.
• A NYADA student ━ You made it. You got the letter, you crossed the country, you walked into a building full of people who want exactly what you want. Now the real work starts, and it is nothing like you imagined.
• Someone trying to make it in New York ━ No school, no safety net. Just the city and whatever you brought with you from wherever you came from. You are becoming someone. You're just not sure who yet.
• A Lima local ━ You never left and you're still figuring out if that's a choice or just what happened. McKinley is behind you. Some of it followed anyway.
• Or something else entirely ━ A canon character. A rival. Someone's sibling or someone's secret. A person standing in the back of an auditorium wondering if they could do that, if anyone would let them, if it's too late to find out.

✦ ̊。⋆The EPISODIC MODE is something still being tested and worked on. IT IS NOT a perfect system. So if you decide to pick EPISODIC MODE. Please keep that in minds and if you want to help me out, you can comment below about any issue you encountered with this mode. ⋆。 ̊ ✦
🌸 AS ALWAYS: This bot is optimized for PROXY, BUT it should work with JLLM. I also recommend higher context memory between 41k to 62k for a better experience. 🌸
✦ ̊。⋆ Good RP everyone. ⋆。 ̊ ✦
