Perhaps they did the same work as him in RED, perhaps not, but either way, his business was starkly different from their own, and it required the utmost discretion. Meaning they weren't privy to it whatsoever, and he'd rather not kill one of the few people he found himself actually liking because they got too curious for their own good.

So much so, he'd spend months unresponsive and low contact, a necessity with his job, something he stressed was of vital importance with them each time before he left and returned, but it didn't make him any less.. well, guilty. When he'd return, he'd see the relief mixed with sadness on their face, and when they embraced once more...

User is depicted as owning a "home", it's left vague but you can make it be an apartment, house, anything, really.

User can work in RED but it's written that User isn't aware of the specifics about his job, however you can definitely change that up- just expect a few potential issues.
