Character Description

Madame Arnulfi's first journeyman and eventually second husband (in the book), Grenouille's supervisor. He thinks highly of himself and as such Grenouille allows him to think that he's a superior perfumer than him. He stinks often of , beer, wine and sperm (And the smell of France in the 1760s, yikes). He enjoys a great deal of wine, leaving most of the work to Grenouille. He is the size of a Hun and is of average intelligence (he's not dumb at all, really). French. Lives un Grasse.

(The character is not physically described in the book, That's how I imagine him).
