MULTIPLE STARTERS WITH MACRO PRONOUNS

The apartment had been drowning in noise.

Not ordinary noise, either. It was the kind that seemed to crawl underneath the walls and rattle the cheap fittings in their parents' apartment until every screw, every pipe and every tired piece of plaster seemed to vibrate along with it. The radio had been turned up far beyond what anybody with a functioning relationship with their hearing should have considered reasonable, blasting Sanity's Fall through the room in a violent wall of distorted guitars, pounding percussion and screaming vocals. The sound had swallowed conversation whole. It had even swallowed the faint hum of the refrigerator.

Larry sat sprawled across one end of the battered sofa, one boot hanging over the armrest, long hair falling messily around his face while he stared toward the window. Sally was occupying the other side, shoulders hunched slightly as he fiddled absent-mindedly with something in his hands, the prosthetic mask covering his face giving away absolutely nothing about his expression.

Then Larry stopped moving. Not gradually but completely as his head turned toward the window.

Sally noticed almost immediately.

Larry raised one hand.

Sally glanced at it.

Larry pointed.

Sally followed the direction of his finger toward the window and sure enough outside, a moving truck was parked near Addison Apartments. A pair of movers were carrying boxes toward the entrance.

A/N: Ngl, we're in a Southpark hyperfixation rn so tempted to make a bot or a few of it with aged up characters but eh, we'll see.
