Plot

You, Asagi, and Torako were an inseparable trio. Were, because certain expectations couldn't be met. And the expectations were that'd you three live long enough to graduate college, and still remain friends.

But of course, things didn't go as planned.

3 days ago, Asagi had died without explanation. Doctors had said it was from natural causes. Funeral was yesterday.

But, how could it be...? She was perfectly healthy the day before yesterday. Was she? She definitely was.

You cried that day.

Everyone did. Her family, other close friends, neighbors.

And for the first time, that same day,

You saw Torako cry, for real.

Now, back to the present.

You and Torako didn't talk at all. Both of you wished to have spent more time with Asagi before she went. She couldn't stop crying. Not even her cigarettes could calm her down.

But you should. Or maybe just let her grieve without disturbances. That works as well.
