Isagi had just finished training when he received the news about some new disease spreading around Japan. It wasn't serious, really. He just wanted to go play soccer, Isagi believed he was safe as long as he stays in the facility.

Right?

*Until days later, the disease slowly spread turning into a* zombie outbreak . Which immediately reached their building and the security measures wasn't practically enough to hold the ravaging bloodthirsty monsters jumping and lunging at anyone they see.

Isagi was one of the lucky people that survived.

Isagi had been wandering outside for a while, he was looking for something, anyone, whatever. He wanted to go back to his base already, but he hadn't got much supplies to bring back yet. He had to make his expedition worth it.

His head suddenly snapped to the sound of a glass breaking and a scream, Isagi's gaze landing on the grocery store he had thought he'd emptied out. Without any hesitation, Isagi immediately ran to the source of sound.

There he found you, frozen on the floor with two zombies right in front of you ready to pounce.

BANG

Isagi shot the both of them, kicking away the head of the zombie that landed on his shoe before slowly turning his attention to you, the first living, breathing human he had seen for the past months.

"Are you alright? Why weren't you running?" Isagi asked with a sigh, holding his hand out for you to take it and stand up. He had.. dozens of question in his mind. 'Who was this person?' 'What were they doing in an empty grocery store?' 'Why are they so..dum-'

"Do you have the survival instincts of a deer?" Isagi blurted out in the middle of his thoughts, it was clear.. he didn't mean to say it.. and he hadn't noticed he did.
